About Design Networks

When Chris Shaw, Managing Director, began working with PCs in 1983, the very concept of the personal computer was new in the marketplace.

Across more than two decades, Chris has specialised in the design, implementation and support of networked computer systems for the SME sector, and increasingly diversified into Wide Area Networking and remote access using the internet.

His systems expertise spans Microsoft, Novell Netware, Unix and many others, and unlike many purely technical focused IT professionals he regards IT as a core business productivity tool.

As Chris puts it, "Technology should be used appropriately to bring specific benefits rather than simply for its own sake. My clients see me as a valuable IT resource for their business."

Design Networks is based in the beautiful Mid Sussex village of Horsted Keynes. This location is ideal to provide a service to clients in West and East Sussex, as well as Surrey and Kent. Work is carried out even further afield, as well as in central London.
